Imbotec Group was Incorporated in 1999. During our 20 years, we are proud to have serviced more than 3000 customers.  Imbotec specializes in Quality Control Measurement devices, primarily in a BtoB process. 
Relatively speaking, yes, our in-stock items get to you in 2-3 days, most probably faster than companies in your own state or province. Since we ship everything by courier and primarly by Air Courier to both U.S.A. and Canada, we are much faster than most other companies, so being close these days does not account for much. Physically we are located just north of beautiful Niagara Falls, NY. Our CEO has lived and worked in both Canada and U.S.A. If being American means anything, our founder and CEO was born in America.  If it does not, we still hold true to our hearts, the sense of honesty and pride to be honored to help our customers. MIZA is a brand name, Registered and Copyrighted by Imbotec Group.  MIZA products are created by Imbotec after extensive testing and having passed our Chief Engineer’s requirements to meet and match or supersede national brands. Think of this like a Costco branded product. Great Price and High Quality, thus a super value product. Still not sure, checkout our MIZA Warranties that leave others in the dust. This begs the question, why others are so scared to have longer warranties.
MIZA Warranties start at 2 years and are up to 3 years standard on certain products. MIZA warranties can be extended for an additional year if you wish upon purchase.
MIZA Instruments can be Calibrated by us at the Imbotec Laboratory. We use our ISO standards to test and adjust the meters or instruments so that they perform according to specifications. Most companies send in their equipment annually for Calibration.
MIZA instruments and meters are Serviced by us. If the unit is under warranty, you will get SUPER preferential treatment to speed up whatever is wrong. If it is a MIZA instrument you also get preferential treatment with your issue.

YES, any instruments that come into our laboratory that require a Repair & Diagnostics is preformed first prior to itsCalibration.

Our Calibration Service consists of:

  •  initial quoting, 
  • approval, 
  • issuing an RMA ticket and shipping documents, 
  • calibration service, 
  • payment and 
  • returning of instruments

Average calibration time within our facility from day received to completion is within 7 business days.  Timings can vary depending upon number of RMAs received and any Rush services.

Multiple options can occur:

  • All in-stock orders for which payment has been approved will be processed within 48 hours from Monday to Friday. 

  • Any non-stock orders will take additional lead time before shipping.  Although products are not in stock, the product page will advise the turnaround time.
  • If order was placed online, updates will be provided on your account.

If your order has multiple products with varying availability. 

  • Normally, your order will be shipped once all the items are available at our warehouse. 
  • If you would prefer to break down the order, please contact us at or by telephone to make adjustments to your order.   Please note, additional shipping costs may apply. 
  • In addition to the others, all International shipments take longer to prepare due to the additional paperwork required as well as the different transit times, you will be contacted with this information.
  • If there's anything special or adjustments that need to occur with your order, you will be contacted to go over this.

We accept credit card (Visa or Mastercard), EFT, PayPal, and wire transfers.  For our approved credit customers we also accept purchase orders and cheques.  You can provide a Purchase Order to be referenced on the invoice but make payment by another method.

Any credit card information provided to one of our staff is only kept to use for that purchase and then shredded.  If you want to make additional purchases, you will need to provide your credit card details again.

Currently, due to Covid 19, we prefer to accept electronic payments only.


Every product has an Availability noted on our website or an estimate on how long it will take us to get that product and fulfilled from the Manufacturer. Someone from our office will contact you to discuss availability for any items that are special orders.

Your 100% satisfaction is important for us. We offer a 7- and 14-day Return & Exchange Policy on non-special order items.

  • If a product gets damaged or is lost by a courier and you have purchased the optional Courier Insurance, you will be refunded by the insurance.
  • If a product is faulty upon a delivery - Contact us within 5 days by email with reason and return it to us. We will then check the fault to determine whether it is a simple fix or not and take the appropriate action to get you a unit.
  • For returns, please email with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name, and the reason for the return. We will provide you with instructions where to send returned goods. Customers are strongly recommended to get courier insurance when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations. All expensive shipments over $200., shall be shipped by AIR Courier as we did upon shipping it to you.
  • To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged, and accompanied by proof of purchase within seven days. An RMA # will be issued by us to you by email. A restocking fee of 10% will be subject to this return.
  • If a product has been used and works properly but is returned within 14 days, then a 25% restocking fee will be subject to the return.
  • All returns will be inspected. If deemed to be in perfect working order and condition, the appropriate refund described above will be processed and applied to the customer's credit card or original payment method and will be issued within seven days.
  • When a returned item is received and inspected, the customer will receive a confirmation email notifying you about the status of the refund.
  • Please note that customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returned items.

We ship everywhere by a reliable courier with tracking options.

Most of our products are within standard shipping dimensions and weights and qualify for free or standard shipping. There are limited products that exceed standard shipping dimensions and weights; therefore, these products do not qualify for free or standard shipping rates.   These products on our website clearly show additional shipping cost options. On these orders, we will contact you with your shipping costs for your approval.

Yes. As soon as your order is processed for shipping, we will include the e-mail provided to us into our courier system.  

Initially, you will receive an e-mail from the courier with a tracking number OR you can login to your website account and receive these updates here.  In addition to this, you will be receiving courier updates for being shipped, exceptions and issues and when delivered.
